CM Punk will defend the World Heavyweight Title against Finn Bálor of The Judgment Day at WWE Elimination Chamber. After leaving The Judgment Day in the backstage area, Bálor lost an incredible World Title Match to Punk on Raw in Belfast. Punk raised the challenger’s arm after the match. When Bálor was denied entry into the Royal Rumble Match, he attacked Punk to stay in title contention. In a war of words on the February 9 episode of Raw, Punk asked General Manager Adam Pearce for a championship rematch with Bálor at WWE Elimination Chamber. This title fight will take place after 2026 Royal Rumble winner Roman Reigns announced that he would challenge Punk for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania.

At WWE Elimination Chamber, Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch will defend her title against AJ Lee. Lee returned to WWE for the first time in ten years to help her husband CM Punk defeat Lynch and her husband Seth Rollins at Wrestlepalooza. Later, Lee returned to distract Lynch, causing her to lose the Women’s Intercontinental Title to Maxxine Dupri on Raw. At Survivor Series: WarGames, Lee secured the win for her team by forcing Lynch to tap out to the Black Widow. Lynch later won back the championship from Dupri in a controversial match. When Lee appeared on the February 9 episode of Raw, the furious champion challenged her to a match at WWE Elimination Chamber for some payback.

Six Superstars will clash inside the Elimination Chamber for the chance to challenge Undisputed WWE Champion Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania. Randy Orton was the first to qualify for the Chamber by defeating Aleister Black and Solo Sikoa in a Triple Threat Match on SmackDown. LA Knight became the second qualifier after winning against Penta and Austin Theory on Raw. Cody Rhodes triumphed over Jacob Fatu and Sami Zayn in a thrilling match to be the third Superstar to qualify. Je’Von Evans defeated Gunther and Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio to earn his spot. Trick Williams took down Damian Priest and Carmelo Hayes to secure his place in the dreaded structure. The Elimination Chamber Match will start with two Superstars in the ring while four others will be enclosed in their pods. At set intervals, a pod door will open to let another competitor join the match. This will continue until all pods are empty. When a Superstar is pinned or submits, they are eliminated and must leave the Chamber. The last Superstar remaining will be declared the winner. She won a Triple Threat Match against Chelsea Green and Lash Legend on SmackDown. Rhea Ripley secured the second spot by defeating Lyra Valkyria and Ivy Nile. Alexa Bliss earned her place by beating Women’s United States Champion Giulia and Zelina. Asuka also claimed her spot by taking down Bayley and Nattie. Kiana James shocked everyone by upsetting Charlotte Flair and Nia Jax to grab her position in the Chamber. The Elimination Chamber Match will start with two Superstars in the ring, while four others will be inside their pods. At set intervals, a pod door will open, letting another competitor join the fight. This will continue until all pods are empty. If a Superstar is pinned or submits, they are eliminated and must leave the Chamber. The last Superstar standing will be the winner.
