The upcoming battle at Saturday Night’s Main Event will feature World Heavyweight Champion Gunther against WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg. Gunther created a major confrontation with Goldberg during WWE Bad Blood 2024 when the former insulted both Goldberg and his son Gage at the event until a physical altercation almost occurred. Just one week after Gunther secured the World Title from “Main Event” Jey Uso the June 16 episode of Monday Night Raw showcased Goldberg’s unannounced comeback with a statement that declared “he’s next!” The return of Goldberg took place during an episode of Monday Night Raw in Atlanta where Gunther had previously disrespected both Goldberg and his son.

LA Knight will face Mr. Money in the Bank Seth Rollins during Saturday Night’s Main Event.
These two Superstars have been fighting since the Money in the Bank Ladder Match when Rollins gained assistance from Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed to win and stop The Megastar from becoming Mr. Money in the Bank.
They have been attacking each other every week since then so Knight blindsided The Visionary during the June 30 Raw episode.
Knight and Rollins will face each other in a one-on-one match for their first time ever.

Randy Orton aims to strike Drew McIntyre with a serpentine attack during the upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event. McIntyre made his presence known by disrupting Orton and Cody Rhodes during their July 4 appearance on SmackDown. The Viper unleashed an RKO without warning when he encountered The Scottish Psychopath McIntyre which established the framework for their upcoming historic battle.
