The Storm is arriving for The Biggest Event of the Summer, as Jade Cargill is challenging WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton at SummerSlam.
Since Stratton cashed in her Money in the Bank contract on Nia Jax to capture the WWE Women’s Title, SmackDown has been on Tiffy Time. The ever-rough champion has endured all challege, whether on the mic and in championship matches against Jax, Charlotte Flair, and WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus.
Cargill appears to be her strongest opponent to date. After her Queen of the Ring Final win against Asuka at WWE Night of Champions and her No Holds Barred win over Naomi at WWE Evolution, the former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion is set a singles star.

Randy Orton will team up with Jelly Roll to face Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul at SummerSlam.
Following an incident that took place on SmackDown, where the four-time Grammy-nominated artist Jelly Roll came to Saturday Night’s Main Event alongside Orton after Orton made his entrance to go into battle against McIntyre, who had Paul at ringside.
In the midst of the action, Jelly Roll pushed Paul from ringside back to the floor to keep him at bay. That allowed The Viper enough time to gather his wits and hit the RKO on The Scottish Psychopath and get the victory. However, when Paul sucker punched Randy right after the bell rang, Jelly Roll got involved again, as he blocked a punch thrown by The Maverick and sent him out of the ring with a punch of his own. However, jelly Roll didn’t see McIntyre, who blasted the singer with a brutal Claymore Kick.
Backstage, The Viper tried to apologize to the singer for putting him in harm’s way, but Jelly Roll told him their opponents made a big mistake underestimating him. The Viper told him they could settle it all at The Biggest Event of the Summer.

The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship will be defended as Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez defend the belts against Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss at SummerSlam.
At WWE Evolution, The Judgment Day defended the title against Flair & Bliss, The Kabuki Warriors and Sol Ruca and Zaria in a Fatal Four-Way Tag Team Match. However, Flair & Bliss were not pinned in that contest. That being said, Flair earned a title opportunity against Rodriguez and Perez at The Biggest Event of the Summer.

Roman Reigns will team with “Main Event” Jey Uso against Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, with “The Oracle” Paul Heyman in their corner, at SummerSlam. Paul Heyman turned on Reigns and CM Punk at WrestleMania with a couple of brutal low blows – joining forces with Seth Rollins. The Visionary soon welcomed The Wiseman as The Oracle and helped Rollins create a new faction with Reed and Breakker. When Rollins got hurt against LA Knight on Saturday Night’s Main Event in July, however, The OTC returned to the active roster, and started a fight with his friend’s associates. He wouldn’t be without company for long, as Jey Uso soon ran to help his cousin clear the ring after hitting their adversaries with a double Spear.
Breakker and Reed have serious heat with Jey, and Breakker has said that Reigns isn’t important anymore, because he was “the Big Dog”, setting up can not miss tag match at The Biggest Event of the Summer.

After months of Karrion Kross stalking Sami Zayn backstage attempting to live rent free in Sami’s head, Zayn thankfully emerged victorious in an explosive match up at WWE Night of Champions but since then Sami has been subjected to hell from his evil nemesis. The Harbinger of Doom, Karrion Kross, has relentlessly victimized Zayn and tried to force Zayn to acknowledge he is imperfect. Kross even injured Zayn in their last encounter and deprived Sami from the chance to compete at the No. 1 Contender Gauntlet match for the World Heavyweight Title. Sami returned to the ring just in time to wrestle Karrion Kross. Unfortunately, Kross had assistance from a lead pipe that his wife Scarlett delivered to him which helped defeated Sami. Now, the stage has been set for a one on one conflict between Zayn and Kross at The Biggest Event of the Summer.

The Hardy Boyz, The Dudley Boyz, and Edge & Christian collided for the first time in history in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match at SummerSlam 2000, establishing a new trend in wrestling matches.
Twenty-five years later, Tables, Ladders and Chairs returns to SummerSlam, as the largest field of competitors ever assembled for a TLC Match will battle for the WWE Tag Team Title.
WWE Tag Team Champions The Wyatt Sicks will have their championships suspended above the ring against The Street Profits, The Motor City Machine Guns, #DIY, Fraxiom, and Andrade & Rey Fenix.
For months, all six teams have been at war, and SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis was left with no choice but to announce the return of the TLC Match involving The Wyatt Sicks title match with Andrade and Fenix ended with chaos after the other SmackDown tag teams got involved.
This will be the first TLC Match on a Premium Live Event since TLC 2020 and the first TLC Match at SummerSlam since 2009.
Three of the teams will have previous experience in TLC Matches, as then-WWE Tag Team Champions The Street Profits collided with #DIY and Motor City Machine Guns on the April 25 episode of SmackDown, that match ended with Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins.

At SummerSlam 2025, The Ring General will face-off against The Best in the World in a match worthy of The Biggest Event of the Summer. CM Punk had a lot of wear and tear after surviving the grueling No. 1 Contender Gauntlet Match and defeating Bron Breakker on the July 14 edition of Raw to earn the opportunity to face Gunther for the title. Gunther comes in hot off a statement victory on Saturday Night’s Main Event against WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg, which officially retired the icon for good.
It goes without saying that Gunther and CM Punk (while they may look vastly different) are both generational Superstars, and it will be tough to find two more talented performers in the ring together. On this day last year, CM Punk was competing in his first SummerSlam match in 11 years but came out on the losing end against Drew McIntyre in Cleveland. The World Heavyweight Champion is 2-0 at SummerSlam with victories over Damian Priest and McIntyre respectively.
Ever since his return to WWE, CM Punk has been unapologetically motivated to win championship gold. This match leaves questions on if it will be Gunther or Punk who shines the brightest at The Biggest Event of the Summer.
