A star-studded Six-Man Tag Team Match will feature Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and LA Knight facing World Tag Team Champions Logan Paul, Austin Theory, and international streaming star IShowSpeed. The Vision has been tormenting The Usos for months. This rivalry peaked when Paul and Theory defeated the famous tag team for the World Tag Title, aided by an unexpected and seemingly accidental assist from IShowSpeed. Thought to be cursed by Danhausen, Speed hit Knight with brass knuckles, allowing Paul and Theory to snatch the win and the championship. The Usos and The Megastar seek revenge, and they’ll get their chance in an epic Six-Man Tag Team Match at The Show of Shows.

The fierce feud between Jacob Fatu and Drew McIntyre has spiraled into chaos, with the only place to settle their differences being The Grandest Stage of Them All. At WrestleMania, Fatu will battle McIntyre in an Unsanctioned Match. Fatu and McIntyre have shown they are completely out of control, with many attacks on each other. Fatu even helped cost McIntyre the Undisputed WWE Title to Cody Rhodes. Meanwhile, McIntyre pretended to quit SmackDown, only to return and attack Fatu during his match against Trick Williams. On the March 20 episode of SmackDown, the two rivals brawled from the start of the show until the end, even throwing each other off a high steel balcony. In response, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis officially announced a WrestleMania match between Fatu and McIntyre but distanced himself and WWE from any responsibility by making it an Unsanctioned Match.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax and Lash Legend will defend their title against Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, and The Bella Twins in a Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Match at WrestleMania. The powerful Irresistible Forces won the title from Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY in late February. They are tough enough to keep their championship at any cost. Three elite teams threaten their reign. First are the unlikely friends Flair and Bliss. The Queen holds 14 Women’s Championships and two Tag Team Championships. Her partner, The Goddess of WWE, has five Women’s Championships and four Tag Team Titles. Flair and Bliss are determined to reclaim the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title after losing it to The Kabuki Warriors, due to interference from Jax and Legend. Next are Bayley and Lyra Valkyria. Bayley is a four-time Women’s Champion and a two-time Tag Team Champion. Valkyria is an emerging star, the first Women’s Intercontinental Champion, and a former Tag Team Champion. She has made it her mission to help Bayley return to WrestleMania. Now that she has achieved that, the goal is to win gold on The Grandest Stage of Them All. Finally, the field includes WWE Hall of Famers The Bella Twins. At a time with fewer titles, Nikki Bella became a two-time Divas Champion. Her second reign set a Divas Title record at 301 days. Brie is also a former Divas Champion, and The Bellas have returned to WWE to aim for Tag Team Champions for the first time.

With tensions high, Women’s Intercontinental Champion AJ Lee and Becky Lynch are set to take their long-standing rivalry to The Grandest Stage of Them All in a must-see title match. Lee returned to WWE after more than a decade to team with CM Punk in a Mixed Tag Team Match against Lynch and Seth Rollins, where Lee made Lynch tap out at Wrestlepalooza. Lee repeated this by submitting Lynch to win a WarGames Match at Survivor Series 2025. Then, at WWE Elimination Chamber 2026, Lee captured a championship for the first time in over 11 years by forcing Lynch to tap out to the Black Widow for the third time. Weeks later, on the March 16 episode of Raw, Lee defended her title against her good friend Bayley but endured a brutal post-match attack from Lynch. One week later, The Man made it clear she is after Lee in her quest to reclaim the gold. In response, Lee challenged Lynch to a Women’s Intercontinental Championship rematch at The Showcase of the Immortals.

Two of the best Superstars to ever lace up boots will clash on The Grandest Stage of Them All when Seth Rollins faces Gunther. During the March 30 episode of Raw, when Rollins was about to deliver another Stomp to Paul Heyman, Gunther suddenly returned, pulled The Visionary out of the ring, and trapped him in the Sleeper. Rollins is a six-time World Champion, two-time Intercontinental Champion, two-time United States Champion, 2019 Royal Rumble winner, and two-time Money in the Bank winner. Gunther is a two-time World Heavyweight Champion, 2024 King of the Ring, and the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion in history.

Liv Morgan will challenge Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer in a highly personal match at WrestleMania. Morgan won the 2026 Royal Rumble Match, outlasting 29 other Superstars to earn the right to challenge the Women’s Champion of her choice at The Showcase of the Immortals.

At WrestleMania, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will face Randy Orton. One of the most dangerous Superstars in WWE history, Orton is a 14-time World Champion, a Grand Slam Champion, a two-time Royal Rumble winner, and a Money in the Bank winner. His legendary career includes moments as The Legend Killer. Orton earned the chance to challenge the Undisputed WWE Champion by winning the Elimination Chamber, outlasting Rhodes, LA Knight, Logan Paul, Trick Williams, and Je’Von Evans. However, Rhodes was eliminated due to outside interference from then-titleholder McIntyre. This was not the first time McIntyre interfered to cost Rhodes a title opportunity. After Jacob Fatu disrupted things, Drew ended Rhodes’ second Undisputed WWE Title reign in a Three Stages of Hell Match on SmackDown, and McIntyre also illegally eliminated Rhodes from the Royal Rumble Match. After the Chamber chaos, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis announced a title rematch between Rhodes and McIntyre on SmackDown, where Rhodes defeated McIntyre to reclaim the gold and secure a title match against Orton at The Showcase of the Immortals. Rhodes and Orton share a storied history, having fought together in The Legacy and maintained a close friendship throughout the years. Cody held the Undisputed WWE Championship for 378 days during his first reign and 159 days in his second. The title means everything to Rhodes, and after going through so much to get it back, he will defend it against his one-time mentor. For Orton, it is not about how many days he has held titles, but about that crucial moment he needs to hit an RKO out of nowhere to defeat The American Nightmare.

John Cena is returning to The Grandest Stage of Them All as the host of WrestleMania 42. The Greatest of All Time shared the news on social media that he is headed to Las Vegas. The 17-time World Champion retired from in-ring competition last December after his loss to Gunther at Saturday Night’s Main Event but is now making his first return to WWE.
